This March, the entire company is celebrating Daniela’s 4-year anniversary at MineralTree. As the only Human Resources Manager, she has been a foundational member of the company, and has orchestrated all of the events, perks, and benefits that make MineralTree one of the best places to work in Boston. Beyond that, she has also played an essential role in day-to-day company operations by managing accounts payable and providing IT support. As MineralTree continues to rapidly grow its team and produce disruptive technology, we look forward to having Daniela as a leader throughout this process.

How did you find out about MineralTree and why did you join?
I stumbled across MineralTree while doing a job search on Indeed. I had never heard of MineralTree before but was intrigued by the role of being the first Human Resources employee hired at the company. When I went in to interview I immediately clicked with my former boss and was excited about the role and opportunity. 4 years later and I’m still just as excited to be here.
In your own words, what do you do at MineralTree?
This is a very interesting question, because in my time at MineralTree I have worn many hats: HR Manager, Accounts Payable Manager, Office Manager, Events Manager, dabbled in some IT, Project Management. Through all those different roles though, my main focus has always been to serve and support our employees. My focus is to ensure employees are happy and that MineralTree continues to foster a collaborative and supportive culture and environment.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day?
What motivates me is the fact that I get to work with so many bright, hard working & fun colleagues. The fact that my role has so many different facets as well is super motivating because I am constantly working on something new. Having a boss that completely supports me and motivates my growth and development is also super important . I feel that I have pure autonomy in my work which not everyone can say.
Which employee perk that MineralTree offers do you enjoy the most? Why?
These two perks go hand in hand with two of my passions: Food and staying active/healthy. MineralTree offers free lunch every Friday. This gives employees a chance to get away from their desks, mingle with their colleagues and talk about weekend plans. We also have access to a free gym, that offers an incredible variety of classes (Boxing, Barre, Yoga, Cycling, Powerlifting). Access to this gym has allowed me to get into a routine of working out at lunch. During this time I not only break a sweat, I recharge myself mentally and along the way I have met some really great friends from other companies that attend the classes.
If you had to describe MineralTree in one word, which word would you choose? Why?
Dynamic. MineralTree has gone through some significant growth and change over the last few years. We continue to look for ways to better our product, better serve our customers, and continue to hire incredible talent to do so. We’re always looking to raise the bar, and being a part of such a driven team is exciting.
