In his own words
How did you find out about MineralTree and why did you join?
Before MineralTree, I was working in a narrow Operations role for a large company with low expectations concerning Security. MineralTree afforded me the opportunity to have a leadership role and utilize the security skills I acquired while obtaining certification as an Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
In your own words, what do you do at MineralTree?
As the Director of Operations and principle Security Officer, I am responsible for the uptime and availability of the MineralTree application, its integrity and ensuring the confidentiality of our customer’s and partner’s data.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day?
I enjoy my colleagues. I am deeply interested in the challenges in front of us, and I’m excited about the company’s opportunity to make a success.
Which employee perk that MineralTree offers do you enjoy the most? Why?
I live in Providence, RI, a lengthy commute to Cambridge, MA. I typically work in the office in Cambridge. MineralTree provides a pre-tax allocation for commuting expenses. Moreover, MineralTree has been very flexible with hours in the office and working at home, which takes the edge off the commute grind.
If you had to describe MineralTree in one word, which word would you choose? Why?
Service oriented. Sorry, that’s two words. Everyone at MineralTree, everyone, is sincerely committed to making our customers and partners, not just successful, but delighted to be using the MineralTree product. That enthusiasm affects what we do and how we do it, and makes for a great place to work.
